Check out some of the biggest points from Myrna’s interview below:
What is Digital Media Optimisation?
It’s something that just naturally happens over time. It grew to be this thing where people started asking me a whole bunch of questions. I became this like hot button of Mirna will probably know this answer. And you know, so that’s kind of how it works. So is a day to day. What’s my day look like between meetings with clients, meeting with some of their marketing teams and then also trying to implement some strategies around how to better engage with their prospective customers is always a part of the day too.
Where do you start with an Online Presence?
So my advice would be to know where you currently are. I mean, I always start off with all of my clients with like an audit just to kind of get an idea of a baseline to say, look, if you are active on Instagram or if you’re active on LinkedIn, what does that profile look like? Like what type of engagement you’re getting there? You know, if you really rely on your website for business and you really, truly see it as your sales person who works 24 hours a day, we would want to do an audit on that to to see is it actually showing up in a Google search? Are people actually filling out your forms when you request any type of call to action? What’s the user experience like? So that’s the first step.
I always start with the let’s know your baseline of all the things you want to do. Because here’s the thing I tell all of my clients all the time too. You don’t have to be everywhere all the time. You could be one place and just do it really well for a moment. And if you have interest or you see the need to be somewhere else, then we work on that too. But it’s not this hashtag. All the things that you need to try to like take care of and like get control of. Yeah, that’s where I would start.
If you could add one final piece of advice, something that’s made a difference in your personal life or your business life, what would that piece of advice be?
That one thing would be get your claws solid, who you are, what you do, who you do it for, and where you do it, if applicable, is key because that’s going to be that tagline thing that you can use as an elevator pitch. It’ll be that thing that connects you with customers along their journey and you can utilize it throughout any single digital touchpoint. So I would say do that.
